Meet Kathy & Mike!
The team behind the rescue
Kathy and Mike met in 2003, they were introduced by some friends. Their love of animals created a strong connection between the two of them. Over the years they have been a safe home for hundreds of animals from cats to dogs to birds to rabbits--and even chickens and pidgeons! Kathy and Mike have rescued three dogs (Mocha, Molly, & Prissy) into their home and numerous cats [including 7 FELV-positive cats]. Kathy first started fostering for FUR, a mother whom gave birth to her newborn kittens in a trap! Kathy and Mike have chosen to commit their lives to saving animals because it is heartbreaking but also rewarding to see an animal go to their furever home. There are too many un-wanted and cast-off pets and they all deserve sincere love. Their favorite part about owning a rescue is when adopters send updates and they can see their rescued pets living in a happy loving home!
